My Peak Potential now hosting BASI Nordic Ski courses.
As The British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) Centre Of Excellence for Nordic Skiing, My Peak Potential are pleased to be able to run a number of exciting Nordic skiing courses and packages throughout the year. There are three levels of instruction to include; Nordic Instructor, Nordic Teacher and the Nordic National Ski Teacher ISIA qualification. In additional they also offer the Back country module and the child protection module on site.
Considered to be one of the best forms of aerobically complete exercises, Nordic Skiing has superb fitness benefits. It uses both upper and lower body muscle groups and engages the body’s core muscles throughout. It also provides natural interval training. This activity has come a long way from being just a mode of transportation in icebound regions. It is now a major competitive sport, played at the Olympic level.
The unique location of the Carnegie Alpenrose was a key factor in choosing it as a venue. There are hundreds of kilometres of amazing Nordic tracks in the area with some of the best starting directly in front of the lodge. This means not only are the tracks quiet but the courses are able to set off right from the doorstep. We also have fantastic accommodation with indoor teaching space, fitness room and wi-fi internet connection throughout. Please click here for details.
We are now running the following courses
Instructor course 10 days £750 14th -24th March / 25th – 29th March 2009
Instructor course 5 days £385 14th – 19th March 2009-03-03
Teacher Tec Module 5 days £385 14th – 19th March / 25th – 29th March 2009
