Beat the Winter Blues!

With a huge variety of winter activities in some of the most beautiful mountains in the Alps this is the perfect family winter holiday destination.

There is something for everyone here; choose from Alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, snow shoeing, sledging, Iglu building and much more. Throughout the season there are also many traditional winter festivals and a variety of spectator sports including Ski jumping, Ice skating and Ski and Boarding competitions.

There are over 30 different ski areas in the Oberallgaeu region of Bavaria with 120kms of uncrowded beautiful pistes. There are also hundreds of kilometres of stunning Nordic ski tracks some starting from right outside our mountain lodge.  From here you can also access the wonderful winter wonderland of the Bavarian Alps by snow-shoe or ski-touring

Getting into the outdoors is the best way to shake off those winter blues. Breathing in the Crisp clean air and taking in the stunning winter scenery will pick you up and a heart warming dish  of Käsespatzle and a glass of glühwein is the best reward for a day spent in the mountains.

Prices start from €50pppn for half-board accommodation (€35 for children under 14) We also have family rooms from €160 per night.*

Ski hire starts at €16 per day for skis, boots and poles. Snow shoes and sledges are available to hire from the Lodge.

There are no surcharges for the school holidays as we don’t believe you should have to pay more for putting your children through school!

Accommodation at the Carnegie Alpenrose includes a continental breakfast buffet and a four course evening meal. You will also receive complimentary sledge hire.

Cheap flights from London Stansted to either Friedrichshafen or Memmingen are available with Ryan Air.  Hertz offer cheap car hire through Ryan Air is available at both airports.
