Accommodation

The Carnegie Alpenrose, formerly a very successful Bavarian hotel, is nestled into the foothills of the Alps. Here it enjoys a position of peace and tranquility, and offers instant access to footpaths, ski tracks and mountain bike trails, which lead you directly into the midst of the mountains. It has recently been renovated to a high standard and has been kitted out with all the necessary technology, including wi-fi internet access throughout, a cinema & lecture theatre and an exclusive gym. There is also UK Sky TV in the Lounge.

This will be your home from home for the duration of your stay and you will be made to feel like one of the family by our fantastic local staff and your MPP hosts and instructors. Our cosy lounge will be open 24 hours a day and is really the heart of the building. Here you can relax on the sofas, gather around the bar and while away the evenings with your fellow guests. You will also eat your meals here each evening, often joined by your instructors who don't like to miss out on the fantastic atmosphere and the opportunity to recount their many exciting mountain experiences!

Evening entertainment is often provided in the form of a film screening or guest speaker in the lecture theatre, but more often than not, the Lounge will be buzzing with conversation from which in our experience it can prove difficult to tear yourself away.

All our bedrooms are en-suite and offer a high standard of accommodation, allowing you to enjoy the peace and the tranquility that this setting offers. With only the local wildlife outside to lull you in a peaceful night's sleep, you will wake-up refreshed and ready to enjoy another day in these wonderful mountains.

The Carnegie Alpenrose truly is a gem in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps.

Food

Accommodation is available as B&B, Half Board and Full Board. Whatever your chosen option all your meals are cooked from fresh daily on the premises by our fantastic chef. We put a strong emphasis on health and nutrition to provide all the energy you need to allow you to enjoy your activities to the full.

If you have any special dietary requirements just let us know on booking your stay with us and we will make sure you are catered for accordingly.

Drink

The Carnegie Alpenrose offers it's guest an exclusive bar to enjoy during their stay with us. (course permitting) we like to encourage our guests to congregate in the Lounge for teas and coffees after a day in the outdoors. However, should you feel like some quiet time you are of course welcome to take drinks back to your room.

Alcoholic drinks and soft bottled beverages are charged for individually unless previously agreed upon booking your course. Please note that all transactions and payments will be required in Euros.
