Teams and Teamworking
Teams differ from small groups because teams embody the coordination that results from tasks interdependently; that is teamwork characteristically requires team members to adjust to one another to achieve team goals. (David P Baker, American Institutes for Research)
Team working involves a broader vision; a leader able to develop that vision with the team and to use all the talents of the team to achieve the objective.
The Team and team working course facilitates the development of teams with a particular focus on the emotional intelligence competencies of team working. It provides the opportunity to learn about and practice team working.
The course contains a blend of theory, which is taken from our Masters degree programme with Leeds Metropolitan University and practical application in the outdoors. This provides a powerful learning experience that has real impact and provides lasting change for you and your organisation.
No previous outdoor experience is necessary, nor is a particular level of fitness.
The teams and team working course can be tailored to your organisational requirements.
